OnOne has just released their “perfect layer” plug-in for public beta testing.  It can be used as a standalone or currently as a plug-in for Adobe Lightroom; finally giving Lightroom the ability to merge and blend layers without have to use Adobe Photoshop.   Although the release date for the full version of the software has yet to be disclosed, (I think sometime mid 2011).  The perfect layer plug-in will have also have support for Aperture and Adobe Bridge.  You can download the public beta version for free right now.   P.S. Finally Adobe is integrating tablets and mobile devices into their almighty, industry-leading software and man it is awesome.
